Customer Care FAQ
Energy and water savings are calculated using a combination of the following: Product manufacturer and Energy Information Administration data, technical case studies from government and industry experts and our experiences as weatherization contractors. All savings estimates assume that the product is properly installed per manufacturers instructions.
If your purchase is not operating properly, indicating a manufacturer defect, please contact our customer service managers using the Contact Us form in Customer Care to assist in ensuring the item is properly installed and is appropriate for your application.
If you need to cancel your order for any reason and it has not yet shipped from our facility, we will process the cancellation request. The majority of orders ship within hours of order placement, so please review your order carefully prior to checkout. If your order has shipped already, we will be unable to process any cancellation requests. To cancel an order, please email cancellations@onlineenergyaudit.com. Be sure to include your order number and whether the cancellation is partial or full.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from Home Energy Checkup, LLC, simply request a Return Material Authorization(RMA) # using the Contact Us form in the Customer Care Section. This request must take place within 30 days of the purchase date.
Once you have requested and received your Return Material Authorization (RMA) # from Customer Care simply return the product in its original container. Please include a copy of the RMA form inside your return package. Be sure to indicate your RMA # on the return shipping label. It is recommended that you ship with an insured carrier.
Refund processing takes 10 business days from the date our warehouse receives the returned items. For the issuing bank to post your credit may take an additional three to four business days.
If your USPS shipment arrived damaged, do not refuse the package. Accept the delivery and notify us at damage@onlineenergyaudit.com.
If your FREIGHT carrier shipment arrived damaged, please refuse the shipment. Once you have refused the shipment, notify us at damage@onlineenergyaudit.com.
